Study abroad for J-term, stay for the spring!

The Center for Learning Abroad (CLA) is offering Lynn students the opportunity to participate in an extended study abroad experience in either Paris, France or Florence, Italy. Students studying abroad for both J-term and the spring semester will receive J-term tuition and accommodations FREE OF CHARGE.

FRANCE - Paris
DJLC 200: French Language and Culture (3 credits) + Spring Semester (12-15 credits)
Art and design; fashion and function; influence and power; romance and passion; there are as many adjectives to describe Paris, France as there are Parisians. Bursting with art, drenched in culture, ripe with sophistication, the “City of Lights” bedazzles all who would gaze upon her. No other city has inspired so many to the point of obsession.

During the J-term all students will be enrolled in a three-credit language and culture course (DJLC 200: French Language and Culture). Following the J-term, students will continue their studies during the spring semester choosing 4 to 5 courses (12-15 credits) in the fields of international business, communication, political science, marketing and more. Semester courses will be determined by the student in collaboration with his/her education abroad and academic advisers.

ITALY - Florence
DJLC 200: Italian Language and Culture (3 credits) + Spring Semester (12-18 credits)
Undoubtedly one of the most heralded destinations in Italy, the city of Florence has beckoned visitors throughout the ages. Its historic significance dates back to its origins as a Roman city, yet it was during the 14th and 15th centuries when Florence obtained unparalleled notoriety. Considered one of the most politically, economically and culturally significant cities of the time, Florence’s mystique has persisted to today.

During the J-term all students will be enrolled in a three-credit language and culture course (DJLC 200: Italian Language and Culture). Following the J-term, students will continue their studies during the spring semester choosing 4 to 6 courses (12-18 credits) in the fields of hospitality, communications, fashion, arts & sciences, international business, journalism, marketing and more.  Semester courses will be determined by the student in collaboration with his/her education abroad and academic advisers.
