Ambassador Corps (AC) is the signature program of the new Social Impact Lab at Lynn University and is an entry point to a purpose-driven career where students receive tangible work experience, mentorship, and an empowering professional network. After an intensive pre-departure training focused on leadership skills, intercultural competency and in-depth knowledge of social entrepreneurship, students complete an 8 to 10 week internship with a social enterprise in countries such as Rwanda, Macedonia, Belize, Costa Rica, and the United States. Students will receive an on-site program and safety orientation from the local director and staff. In most cases, airport pick-up and drop-off will be provided. 24/7 emergency contact and support is available to all student interns and students are enrolled in an international medical and accident insurance plan. The Ambassador Corps management staff will identify and coordinate safe and secure housing for each student for the duration of the program. Students are responsible for the following: - Airfare - Baggage fees - Visa (if required) - Meals (unless indicated above) - Tourist entrance fees - Public transportation - Taxis - Telephone calls - Cell phone - Snacks and beverages - Personal expenses
